Management changes at Stork PMT B.V.
|
Press release September 10, 2007: The Strategic Unit (SU) of Stork Food Systems has experienced considerable growth in recent years. Stork Food Systems achieved a turnover of EUR 350 million in 2006, and has a full-time workforce of about 1,800. The growth achieved is based on autonomous growth and on the acquisitions of Townsend Engineering and Nijal. This growth was brought about under the leadership of SU Director Theo Hoen. As Mr Hoen is Director of the SU as well as Managing Director of Stork PMT B.V., and more and more questions concerning the strategy of Stork Food Systems are making demands on his attention, it has been decided, with the approval of the Board of Directors of Stork, to appoint Mr Anton de Weerd as Managing Director of Stork PMT B.V. with effect from 1 July 2007. Both gentlemen have worked for many years at Stork PMT B.V., a worldwide market leader in the field of industrial poultry processing. Stork PMT develops, manufactures, installs and maintains the systems it supplies in more than 100 countries. In doing so, it makes use of sales and service offices located in nearly every time zone. Following the appointment of Mr Anton de Weerd as Managing Director, Mr Arie Tulp has been appointed Manager Sales and Marketing at Stork PMT B.V., also with effect from 1 July 2007. Mr Tulp has worked at Stork PMT for ten years, and has acquired extensive experience as Area Sales Manager, and later as Regional Sales Manager. Mr Hoen and Mr De Weerd will continue to be closely involved in the changing fortunes of their personal contacts in the poultry industry. These changes may mean that you have a new primary contact. What will not change is the fervour with which employees and management will continue to develop technological and technical solutions for you. You can also continue to count on our innovative powers and comprehensive service |
