“I get a real kick out of selling Stork machinery. It starts on paper and a few months later there is a brand-new system up and running that is fully geared to the customer’s requirements. To be able to achieve that you have to be extremely familiar with what you’re selling and what you’re talking about. So at Stork you’re constantly improving your technical know-how and your sales skills. And there is a huge amount of information available here, as a result of which you can provide good advice to your customers. Which is great.
This high level of professionalism was a major reason for my return to Stork in 2007. Moreover, my region is Australia, which is entirely in keeping with my ambitions. Fortunately I have colleagues there too because I enjoy working as part of a team. That’s one reason that this work suits me, because you have to collaborate a great deal to sell the advanced equipment that we develop.
What matters is having customers who are so satisfied that they keep coming back. And that’s something that everyone at Stork works hard on.”
