The weights are ever more frequently up to 22 or even 23 kg and the environment is extremely dusty. Fortunately, the Stork Multiphase Controlled Atmosphere Stunning system makes hanging turkeys a run of the mill job.
Normal working conditions
The Multiphase CAS system works on the basis of a modified atmosphere environment. It is an integral part of Stork´s containerised supply system for turkeys. Birds are supplied and unloaded with hang-on taking place after the birds have been stunned. This makes the hangers´ job less labour intensive.
