CDM-20 Circular Draw Machine
The Stork model CDM-20 circular draw machine was developed to provide reliable operation and maximum efficiency for processing lines
The CDM-20 draw machine is positioned on the eviscerating line after the bird has been properly opened. As the birds enter the machine they are automatically positioned for drawing. (This permitted our company to design for maximum efficiency with a minimum of in-plant adjustments). The CDM-20 operates over a wide range of bird sizes. A small difference in bird size is automatically compensated for since the machine positions each bird for drawing. In addition, the machine is easy to adjust for different size lots of birds.
The design concept of the CDM-20 is simple - reduce maintenance costs, provide superior performance and increase reliability for the high line speeds of today's processing plants. Stork engineers have succeeded in these categories and more.
The CDM-20 automatically draws the entire package of intestines, giblets and lungs and positions them over the back of the bird.
- Viscera damage and the resulting contamination are kept to a minimum
- After drawing, little effort is required to arrange the viscera for inspection, thereby reducing the need for skilled labor
- The consistent operation of the CDM-20 practically eliminates bird damage
