After the gizzard harvester, the gizzards are automatically brought to a peeling bed where they are processed once again. The inspector then separates the correctly from the incorrectly peeled gizzards. The peeled gizzards are discharged underneath the table. The ones which are incorrectly peeled are fed into the machine to undergo the process once more. The inspector also has the option to peel these gizzards.
Underneath the inspection/peeling table a collecting bin for the offal has been integrated, which can be connected to the vacuum transport system.
Advantages of the HP:
- Capacity: 9,000 gizzards per hour
- Ergonomic design so that work can be performed either sitting down or standing up
- Can be used as a manual peeler in plants where gizzards are opened and cleaned manually or semi-automatically
- Contains a perforated surface that allows gizzards to drain, improving their storage life
