Stork's multi-stage scalding system consists of three tanks per system. Fresh water is administered into the exit end of the systems and flows against the direction of the line in accordance with the NCC guidelines for "counterflow" scalding and is USDA approved. The system includes a bird washer cabinet at the end of the multi-stage.
Four different configurations of the energy efficient air agitated scalders are available to meet your specific needs. Standard widths in 2 pass and 3 pass, plus compact 3 and 4 pass types.
Controlled" Air Agitation" completely wets the birds and effectively penetrates all feather follicles, resulting in easier feather removal. This allows for looser picker adjustments, resulting in:
